Hey guys, I know we've discussed some tips and tricks for leveling jobs quickly, and I figured we could gather them up here for future reference. The idea behind this is to get some alternatives to the heavily treaded leveling paths that everyone knows. I'll start by listing some of said path down below, and I'll edit it as you guys add some ideas. Again, this doesn't need to just be leveling spots. Veve mentioned using Adoulin courier missions to level alt jobs quickly from 1-30. Something like that would be great to hear about as well.

To start, I'll basically list where I leveled my jobs and how (grinding, questing, etc).

Level 1+
RoE turn ins
Adoulin Courier Coalition

As Veve noted below, you can do Courier quests and then RoEs to easily get through the low levels. Here's what I've been doing: Use the Unity Daily Communique to get through the first few levels, until it takes 1000+ exp to level. Then, do Courier Coalition quests with ONE Imprimatur to Kamihr Drifts Biv#4. This will give you 4750 exp/bayld. Doing it one Imprimatur at a time is more time consuming but also does give more exp/bayld (4750 per imprimatur yields 14,250 exp/bayld for 3 imprimatur versus 11,400 exp/bayld for a single 3 imprimatur run) and gives less exp per turn in, meaning less is wasted on those low level jobs. Also, save some of those RoEs for after you hit a cap, so you can bump yourself over to the next level and then do the next courier mission. Again, the Unity daily is really handy here.

Level 1-10:
West Ronfaure

Pick your poison of starter zone. I do Ronfaure because I know it best and it feels smaller than the others, which makes getting around and finding mobs easier. Everything feels a bit closer together.

Level 10-15:
La Theine Plateau

On my way from Ronfaure to Valkurm, I kill some stuff along the way.

Level 15-30:
Gusgen Mines
There is one macabre place that gets you these 15 levels in literally 10 minutes of killing. Gusgen Mines.

1.
Take survival guide book to gusgen mines and activate page 1 on book next to it (6 skeletons).

2.
Trusts to summon:
- Amchuchu (alternative: gessho)
- Apururu (or any other whm)
- fill the rest of your party spots with BLMS; Domina Shantotto and Adelheid are the best. These BLMs do crazy magic damage on gusgen mobs.

Til edit: Ullegore and Robel-Akbel would probably also be very good now for this.

3.
Kill skeleton warriors until around 23-24, if you're feeling superstrong sooner, move to the ghouls near the stairs.

4.
At 24-30 kill ghouls on top of stairs, sad flies (careful they link, but who cares), the wendigo and the jelly; every 1-2 fly gives you another level (with exp ring); in the rare occasions any of the mages gets in mp trouble, just resummon them

Level 15-25:
Valkurm Dunes

You could probably start here as early as 11 or 12, but with how quickly the early levels go, I usually don't get here until I'm around 14 to 15. Grab the Damselflies and Crabs Field of Valor quest and kill anything that moves.

Level 25-30:
Qufim Island

There's another nice Field of Valor quest here for something like 7 crabs and 1 Land Worm. The central area with a pond has plenty of both. Just watch out for undead at night.

Level 30-40:
Upper Delkfutt's Tower

Gigas page, highly concentrated pops, one mob type, three NMs that drop stuff you can NPC, and a chest you can open w/ the key that's a common drop. And no status effects like you'll find in the jungles.

(only downside is, if you need to use magic, there can be elems around depending on weather)

Level 30-35:
Yuhtunga Jungle

Mandragoras, Lizards, Bees, even goblins aren't too bad. I think there's a Field of Valor for Mandies and Lizards, but I haven't bothered with it recently with the exp buffs. You could easily stay here until level 40. I usually take a choco to H-6, drop down and head south to I-7 and run around the top level here killing everything.

Level 35-40:
Yhoator Jungle

If you hate settling for DC/EP exp and would rather ratchet it up again, you can head east from Yuhtunga into Yhoator and kill basically the same mobs, but higher level.

Level 37-47:
East Ronfaure Past

Colibri in East Ronf Past around J-9.

Level 40-50+:
Sea Serpent's Grotto

In the big room where the Rhapsodies cutscene took place. Page 3 is Sahagins and a bat, which are all pretty low def and low hp… plenty of pops within a small space, and fast repops. And nobody is ever there.

Level 40-60:
Crawler's Nest

Ah, Crawler's Nest, such fond memories of terrible parties, overcrowded camps, and linking crawlers. This is one of the areas that can still get pretty crowded, so finding some alternatives here would be very welcome. However, when it's available, going from Worker Crawlers and Death Wasps, to Soldier Crawlers and Nest Beetles, to Labyrinth Lizards, to Helm Beetles and Knight Crawlers, is pretty convenient, all in one zone.

Level 45~-56~
Escha - Zi'Tah (E-8/9)

Target: Eschan Worm, Eschan Crawler, Eschan Obdella (if you like leeches)

Level 55-65:
Wajaom Woodlands

Colibri in Wajaom around the Leypoint.

Level 55~-62~
Escha - Zi'Tah (E-7)

Target: Eschan Coeurl

Eschan Vulture can bridge here, but not worth it because they are surrounded by Eschan Corse.

Level 60~-68~
Escha - Zi'Tah (F-7)

Target: Eschan Dhalmel, Eschan Weapon

Level 60-70:
Kuftal Tunnel
Cape Teriggan
Boyahda Tree

Finally some options, though basically all of them are to grind on Robber Crabs, just in different locales. You can pick up some Field of Valor quests to break up the monotony in Kuftal and Boyahda, though you may not want to have to fight raptors for the one in Cape Teriggan. While you can grind to 70 at any of these spots, it does get a bit slow after 65. The double exp and super exp ring might help dull the pain, but I haven't had much luck finding decent grinding spots for the late 60s. Suggestions welcome.

Level 67~-83~
Escha - Zi'Tah (G-10/11)

Target: Eschan Wasp, Eschan Goobbue

Level 72-82:
Bhaflau Thickets

Greater Colibri at the oldschool meripo camp, second map Bhaflau Thickets F-6.

Level 70-80:
Boyahda Tree

Boyahda is actually a decent option for late 60s assuming you're comfortable taking on VT/IT mobs while grinding. This could be a very solid option for duoing, as you'll have a lot more power. The only downside to the Steelshell/Skimmer area is that the Steelshells seem to be on a very slow repop timer. If anyone else is trying to grind here other than you, you might be out of luck. Even solo, if you are a DD, you might kill faster than they can respawn and be forced to wait or fight other mobs instead.

Zeruhn Mines

It would be a bit difficult trying Zeruhn right at 70, but for early to mid 70s, it's fantastic. The only downside is everyone knows it's fantastic, and it's not so fantastic when you're fighting 3 other people for mobs.

Ru'Aun Gardens
Ve'Lugannon Palace

Sky can be pretty great for non-mages starting at around 70. Birdies outside make for easy grinding until about 75 or so. Then, if you don't mind fighting some less than ideal prey, you can head in to Ve'Lugannon Palace and grind on Enkidu (golems). There's a kill 7 Enkidu GoV quest here that doesn't require any other types of enemies. Of course, you'll need to watch out for Detectors, and mages beware of where you stand while casting. There's also Zippy to look out for as well, he can really put the hurt on you if you're not watching for the little guy. If you want to give it a try, zone into Ve'Lugannon at I-5 in Ru'Aun, then take the stairs down at K-3/4 to get to a nice area of Enkidus.

Level 75-85:
Misareaux Coast

Right next to the Survival Guide is a great group of birdies to grind. They don't aggro or link, so feel free to camp and fight wherever. The camp is rather small though, so it's not a very good option if there's anyone else there.

The birds right out of Safehold north west exit to Mis; the birds are in the first open clearing, same level as the other spot. I would even say that place should be 74/75-84; shouldn't have issues in most spots doing chain 5 with mobs 10 levels above with the proper setup.

Level 80-87~
Caedarva Mire (F-9)

Target: Slough Skua

Level 80-ish-90-ish:
Dangruf Wadi

You just need to head in the northest side of the map and kill whatever you like.
Crabs and monkeys are your best bet but the seconds does hit pretty hard.
Crawlers,Goblins (any type but the THF's one which is pure pain) and worms are good options until the mid 80s but then the exp start to take a major hit.
Ther're quite a lot of FoVs in here, pick the one you like more and get your bonus exp.

Level 80-88:
Maze of Shakhrami

Another area with a great Grounds of Valor quest. 3 Crawlers, 3 Bats. The area is big enough to support 2 people grinding, maybe even 3. Beware, the Crawlers do link here.

Level 84/85-94
Meriphataud Mountains Past

Condors in Meriphataud Past south-westish of the Recall point; F-8/9 and around. Basically follow the ravine going south west and there's plenty of condors.
Til note: the Condors link, so you may want to be a bit careful in the earlier levels.

Level 90-99:
Ceizak Battlegrounds

Squishy mandragoras with a super fast (2 min?) respawn timer makes 90-99 pretty nice and quick. The only downside is it's almost always packed with people.

Also, south and east from Biv#1 in Ceizak is a decent camp of Twitherym and bunnies in the clearing at H-10/11. If you're a mage, watch for weather, as elementals can spawn here when there's weather.

Level 90-ish-99
Fei'yin

Bats and Pots all the way, you can chain them for over 5k (with super exp ring) up until lv 97. I believe i went from 95 to 99 in a bit less than 2 hours.
There is a FoV in which you've to kill bats and pots so you can get some nice bonus along the way.

Level 93+
Gustav Tunnel

Fight worms and turtles on the second map, northeast side room. All are lv100+ mobs, also grab the GoV page 8 for extra exp!

Level 93-99:
Kuftal Tunnel

Basement of Kuftal, entered from G-9 on the second map has worms and tigers. Sometimes the rock will be up blocking the way down, just wait for it (good time to summon trusts/buff). Last GoV page (I think) has a 3 worms, 3 tigers kill order. Hardly ever seen anyone there and the mobs are nice and close. Tigers aggro, worms do not.

Level 95+:
Morimar Basalt Fields

Morimar (Frontier Station), butterflies and black mandies. Mandies aggro sound and link, butterflies just link, but are easy kills and plentiful pops all up and down that area.

Again, please feel free to add to this list. Rather than this being a definitive answer to how to level, I'd like it to be a discussion on different ways to level. It's fun to try something new, especially after your 3rd time in two days heading to Crawler's Nest.

Nice work Til. Might I suggest…

Level 30-40:

Level 46-60:
Crawler's Nest

Exoray/Hornfly page… run up and down the tunnel.

Thanks guys, keep the ideas coming! I've added yours to the list. I'm sure Veve will add some more when she's back.

I also added in Ceizak now that I've experienced the 8k exp per kill on my BLM when Ari was letting me tag along to MB :p

This is what I am currently doing for all my jobs

Level 1-15:
Adoulin supply quests:

1.
Go to the Couriers Coalition (Platea Trimphus - Western Adoulin)

2.
Speak to the Task Delegator and select supply quests, when you first start only Ceizak Battlegrounds will be available, but as you rank up, Foret de Hennetiel, Morimar, Yorcia, Marjami and Khamir Drifts will become available.

3.
You want to appoint 3 imprimaturs to each supply quests for maximum exp and bayld; at start you get a new imprimatur every six hours with a maximum storage of 15 imprimaturs (kind like assault tag principle); so at the end the most time efficient way to do these is wait until you have 15 and then distribute them evenly in every supply location (except for the ceizak battlegrounds one since this one yields the least exp); also note that you start accumulating imprimaturs again when you appointed them into supply quests, even when you decide not to do them yet -> read double runs at once.

4.
Go to the platea triumphus geopoint and warp to all the frontier stations of the aforementioned locations and talk to the station administrator with your supply quests active; can do everything on your low level job, since you won't be leaving the camp and just warping back and forth; speaks for itself that you can only geowarp to these places if you have visited them already..

5.
After you visited the 5 locations, you return to the task delegator to cash in on all your supply runs. One supply run will yield up to 11.700 (khamir drifts one), in both exp as in bayld, if you put 3 imprimaturs them. So basically you'll get around 50k+ of experience points AND bayld for just four minutes of warping around.

I know a lot of lazy people who upped all their subjobs to level 50 this way… and you will still see a lot of people running around at this moment while you're doing it yourself :)

6.
Now here is the tricky part; as you might have noticed SE built in a level cap per kill - for example if you are level 1, need 500 exp to go to level 2, 750 exp after that to go to level 3 and you kill a mob that grants you 10.000 exp -> you will only level from 1 to level 2 with 749/750 toward level 3. Same principle applies these supply quests, so what I do is this:

Level 1 -> talk to task delegator to cash in on supply quest -> will get me to level 2 with 749/750 to level 3 -> Activate ROE menu and activate a quest of something I have already done in the past (like tutorial/sandy missions/1-1 etc) -> will bring me into level 3 -> then talk to task delegator to cash in on second supply quest -> will bring me to level 4 with full bar @1 to next level -> ROE quest sandy mission 1-2 -> rinse and repeat.

With bigger level jobs - of course no problem - you'll get full exp

Maybe these supply quests are wasted on too low levels like 1-15, but to me these are much more preferable now than the running around in ronfaure and La Theine with an onion sword :D

Level 15-30:
There is one macabre place that gets you these 15 levels in literally 10 minutes of killing. Gusgen Mines.

1.
Take survival guide book to gusgen mines and activate page 1 on book next to it (6 skeletons).

Will add more leveling spots later, abyssea is a place not to be forgotten for leveling purposes…

37-47 Colibri in East Ronf Past around J-9.

55-65 Colibri in Wajaom around the Leypoint.

64-74 Flamingo in Sky.

72-82 Greater Colibri at the oldschool meripo camp, second map Bhaflau Thickets F-6.

80-85 can be appended to add the birds right out of Safehold north west exit to Mis; the birds are in the first open clearing, same level as the other spot. Good for those last few levels, like 95+, or for merits (base 2-3k per kill and 200 CP @ 99 w/ new KI's):

Morimar (Frontier Station), butterflies and black mandies. Mandies aggro sound and link, butterflies just link, but are easy kills and plentiful pops all up and down that area.

The Shard III is used to pop Lifestorm earring NM, too.
